The Greater Victoria Green Team and Volunteer View Royal volunteers removed 3 cubic metres of Scotch Broom from the Garry Oak habitat in Edwards Park, View Royal!

Highlights

  • 7 volunteers were engaged and contributed 17 volunteer hours (14 GVGT hours)
  • 4 of the volunteers had never been to Edwards Park before
  • 2 of the volunteers had never removed Scotch Broom before
  • We removed 3 cubic metres of broom
  • We revitalized an area measuring approx. 100 square metres!
